Ray, I had to pull my 2nd and 3rd books from B&N and Smashwords in order to participate in Amazon KDP Select. Unfortunately Amazon generates 99% of my sales. The Select membership expires in December and I'm debating whether to renew or put the books back on the other platforms for awhile. I wish they didn't force us to do this. It seems like a monopoly. The books are available in print through Amazon. I'm so sorry for the inconvenience.

I have your first book on my Nook but I cannot find books 2 &3 on the BN or Smashword website. Are they published for Nook?

"The Search For Home" is published. It's on and will be on Nook and Smashwords by the weekend. Smashwords always takes a couple weeks to get it out to it's markets(I-tunes, Kobo, Sony, etc.) I hope you all like it.

Any update for a release date for book #3?

Hi All, Thomas, the second book is out. It's called "Emergence" and continues the story after the Remnant leaves the shelter. Look for it on Amazon and Barnes and Noble (Nook). I am 2/3 of the way finished with "The Search for Home." It will be out in July. Thank you so much for your kind comments. Sounds like you really liked it! Rae Ann, I will let you know when it's published in July. Thanks for your interest.

WOW just read your 1st book and it is fantastic! I could not put this book down. You did a great job with character development and how it all tied together later on in the book. I liked your unique style of mentioning those who didnt make it to NM and how they met their fate. I have read over 500+ doomsday books and this is my favorite! If your ever in Denver doing any book signings I would be honored to have my book signed by you. Any plans on writing more books in this series or starting a new one?

Hi Brandon, "The Search for Home" is the final book in the series, but I'm planning to continue with some Matthew Pennington novels in the same post-apocalyptic world and he may check in with our favorite characters from time to time.

I've read many survival/apocalypse novels, and yours are some of the best I've found. You have a real gift for explaining geography and spatial layouts that make the reader feel as if they know the areas your story takes place in. You also do an excellent job at making realistic feeling technologies and improvisation. Your characters feel like real people, and you do a great job at developing them. I'm looking forward to the next (hopefully not last) installment in this story.

I'm 60% done. I will be out of the country for a couple of weeks so I'm looking at end of May. It's going to be worth the wait!

Hi Carol, I rarely take the time to contact authors but I've enjoyed your series so much I just felt compelled to contact you. As a long-time reader of this genre, I'm always exceedingly pleased to discover new talent, which I'm pleased to say, you most definitely are! Great series, can't wait to read book three....if you're looking for advance copy reviewers please do keep me in mind!

Hi Jenni, I'm a little behind on the final book due to some other commitments, but I'm really working hard on it now. It's probably going to be late May, but I you will find it's worth waiting for. I hope you get better soon!

Dear Carol, I have really enjoyed your first 2 parts of "Humanity Abides" titled " Shelter" and "Emergence". At the end of "Emergence" it says that part 3 "Search For Home" will be out early 2014. I am currently in hospital and your story has captured my imagination and I am really keen to read the final part. Could you please give me some indication as to how long before the book becomes available to purchase? Please reply back as soon as you can. Kind regards, Jenni Cooper.
